Hey! You kids! QuipTracks has it's own site now (accessible by going to www.quiptracks.com or via the link on the left). You can now create a login, review the riffs, and pay for them securely (Lady in the Water and Jurassic Park are still free).

QuipTracks tees are available through Cafe Press.

The QuipTracks Forum is now open. The QuipTracks pages have been further split up, making them a bit easier to navigate for newcomers.

Photos section has been updated. It now consists of a Flickr slideshow.

The Lost World QuipTrack now has a pay button (99¢). It's on the honor system.

The QuipTracks page has been disected into sections (see left menu). In the new QuipTracks Videos page, there is a QuipTracks ad and a viedo-response to our work from an irate Ian Malcolm appologist.

Also, I changed the version # of the Lady in the Water QuipTrack from 2 to 1.1. Nothing changed, it's just a bit more accurate that way...

The previews for Jurassic Park and The Lost World have been uploaded.

New essay/story: "Palendromic Time."

New section...well...I renamed a section! "Short Stories" is now "Stories & Essays." As you may have guessed, I added an essay. It's called "A Hateful Essay About Friendship" and it's not even emo or anything!

Also added a poem by Tracy: "Cowboy, Cowboy, Burning Bright."

The Lost World: Jurassic Park QuipTrack is now available! And until we finish with the new QuipTracks website, it will be FREE!

Re-done Jurassic Park QuipTrack is now available!

Photos section and QuipTracks page updated. Jurassic Park QuipTrack is now 60% re-recorded. I finally scanned the last piece in the "Rhythm, Balance, Focus" series in the 2D Design section.

The Lady in the Water QuipTrack is now on version 2, with a smaller file size, normalized quips, and an exactly 2:00 intro (so you don't have to try to pause the track at the right time, you can just jump to it--mp3 player willing).

New section added: Comics. Started it off with "Raul Sees a Flower."

Damn. Two months and nine days, huh? Well, it may be too late, but for those still checking this page: rest assured, we haven't given up on any of it. The first draft of The Lost Wrold: Jurassic Park is done; this means we have a synced, full-length QuipTrack produced. We will now watch it, write down problems and begin "Phase-2 Recording and Editing" (yeah, I just made that term up). After that, all we need are an intro/outro... Then all we need to do is compress and upload it. It's that simple! Still, school has started, so you know what that means: You can't use the slow dial-up connection you have at home as an excuse anymore.

We have also been recording on some other QuipTracks: Godzilla (feat. Tristan, Tracy, and Kevin), Van Hellsing (feat. Tracy and Kevin), and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (feat. Tristan, Tracy, and Cody).

Finally, there are two new Magic tokens--the 0/1 Black Serf and the 1/1 Blue Camarid.

Lady in the Water QuipTrack previews are up. The Lost Wrold: Jurassic Park is in post-production.

There is a low quality preview for the Lady in the Water QuipTrack avaliable for download. Better quality one will be put on Google Video soon.

Finally! We have fixed the playback-rate problems, and we implemented a new technique for synching--scene beeps (a low tone signals that a cut is coming up, and the second, higher tone should sound as the cut takes place). The Lady in the Water QuipTrack is clear for launch. Preview will be coming soon.

Lady in the Water Quip Track recording and synching are done; I just need to find the time to put sync lines in it. It'll be soon, I promise.

Poetry section opened. There you can read my materpiece, "The Owl-Face Haiku," and Tracy Bowersox makes his Hobo Joe Variety Show debut with the thoughtful, feel-good limrick "I'm Gonna Crunch Your Face," and the introspective and magical "If You Give a Cowboy a Cookie."

Those two poems are the first content added that I was not involved in creating, so now seems like a good time to introduce myself. I'm Tristan Bowersox. I just realized that I've been writing in first person throughout the site, but I never explicitly stated who I was. Maybe I should come up with a signature...

QuipTrack of Lady in the Water is coming soon.

Non-existent sections are no longer shown in the menu for those of you with n00bizor browsers (ie. IE) that can't understand the css script that changed their color to gray. Internet Explorer users will have to endure the inconvenience of not being able to use the "indianabum.com" link in the top left because Internet Explorer doesn't understand that "../" means "go up one folder." Firefox can be found here.

Jurassic Park QuipTrack replaced with a much smaller version (only 43mb instead of 112). Wallpapers section added.

The Hobo Joe Variety Show website is unleashed. The "Jurassic Park" Quip Track is a full length audio commentary to be played along with the movie which insults it a la Mystery Science Theater 3000 (see also Mike Nelson's www.rifftrax.com). It features the voices of Tristan Bowersox, Tracy Bowersox, and Cody Somers.
